An Expert Witness is required when it is necessary to have opinion evidence to assist in the resolution of a dispute. This opinion may lead to an early resolution of the dispute. The primary function of an expert witness is to express an independent expert opinion based on the information that has been provided. An expert can be employed in different capacities such as arbitrations, tribunals, and litigation.
An expert witness is frequently involved in Court proceedings and may be called to give evidence.
My overriding duty as an Expert Witness is to provide the Court with an impartial opinion on particular aspects of financial matters which are in dispute. This involves the preparation of a report which is often subject to cross examination in Court. I have extensive experience of drafting Court reports, always providing truthful, impartial and independent opinions.
